  I was there tonight and arrived at 6 pm and got busy, so my family and I were very patient on waiting. We were in at 9:30pm. Waited 3 hours in the waiting room. Our main purpose was to get my dad stabilized for his pain since he has kidney stones and a hernia. While we were waiting we had a nurse check my fathers vitals to see if he's fine, asked why we waited a month to treat it. But we also have some financial problems at the moment. A father who works from 5 am to 10 pm with a hernia and kidney stones and still every night having food on our plate just for him to deal with such strong pain is unbelievable. We got in the back and our nurse was very nice! But our doctor came in, he automatically asked us what he can help us with today. We explained to him everything and he asked us in such a rude way "what do you need me to do?" REALLY? Expecting from a doctor your would know what to do yourself. He took me and my sister out the room and examined him, me and my sister were furious! The doctor started comparing himself to my own father. "I have a hernia too but I'm working" He told us he had no Hernia surgerions on a Friday night. I understood, but the way he said it was extremely rude. He kept yelling at my father and started to lecture him, but we kept on telling him that were getting out of a financial situation. He really didn't care. He told us that he really can't do anything to help my dad, just gave him other places to go to. But this was an emergency. He could've transferred my dad to another hospital, anything! The doctor than kept on saying how he can't really handle it. Extreme disappointment.

  The staff in labor and delivery as well as the mother baby clinic were phenomenal. Danielle from labor and delivery was excellent, Cheryl, Cathy, and Kristy from mother baby clinic really made things go smoothly in the mother baby clinic. There were so many others i just cant thank you all enough for a great experience. I will certainly choose Edward Hospital again for my next birthing experience!
